Miley Cyrus reinvents the concept of “The Wall” with an experimental pop album.

Miley Cyrus has confirmed that she is working on her upcoming album titled Something Beautiful, an ambitious production inspired by Pink Floyd’s iconic record The Wall. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the artist revealed that her idea is to create “The Wall, but more glamorous and full of pop culture,” combining music, fashion, and visual art into an immersive experience.

The album, still without an official release date, will be a conceptual project with a strong visual component. Cyrus explained that each song will have “healing sonic properties” and will explore themes such as heartbreak, death, and destruction from an aesthetic and emotional perspective. “The most unpleasant moments in our lives have a point of beauty,” she stated.

Something Beautiful will feature contributions from her partner Maxx Morando, drummer of the band Liily, who co-wrote the lead track and participated in the production. Director Panos Cosmatos will also join the project to develop its visual narrative. According to producer Shawn Everett, the album will be “more experimental than anything she’s done so far, but in a pop style that captivates.”
